What greens are worth farming? - Guild Wars Forums

Simple enough question, whats greens would I make a decent profit on if I farmed them? I got an Asterius' Scythe the other week and traded it to an ally for 5 Zkeys but I think that might just have been lucky, is that really worth that much? And what others are good/where are they?

no one,everyone will farm them so all of them will drop some value.
i still think the sorrow's furnace greens are worth most

The only greens that still make decent money on a consistent basis (that I know of) are all from chest drops in dungeons. This means you can't farm them this weekend as they won't get the double chance to drop. Shadowform has made boss farming way too easy, so not many greens have much value as they can all be obtained quickly.

I agree. I dread getting a green drop. I can't merch them, they are always a hard sell, and they never sell for much. To me, there is something wrong with selling an item, that if it were gold, the mods alone would sell for more than the green does.

Bring back the days when a Razorstone or a Bortak sold for 90K+ in less than 1 minute.

I havent bought a single green in 2/3 years. If I get one to drop I just give it to a hero, or leave it lying there.

It also doesn't help that they all have mediocre mods. The martial weapons are all 20/20, 15^50, +30; and most of the caster weapons are even worse.

ive made 50k in 4 hours 2day farming greens (and 2 elite ele tomes) not bad for crappy pieces of junk.

Really, you should be getting 15k/hour at any farm - and a farm that relies on Spamadin selling items SUXORS.

I noticed a total lack of details in your post (what greens - ele boss evidently). Most greens that are half-way decent net around 1-2k - hardly worth farming.

The first reply refers to an oldschool sorrows furnace farm, that's on the order of 15 minutes (and apparently each boss drops 2-4 different greens, with the preferred greens being rare)...

totem axes, fervorborn staff's go for a bit, even pwyatts daggers (cant spell)

maybe 5k a piece? i dunno, but ive never seen em for "1-2k"

You can add to that Urgoz's Longbow - but even so, what used to be the two most expensive Green bows now only attract 20-30k each.

We're always keeping an eye open for Drago's - we give them to Ranger members as they fully complete Prophecies - but they don't appear too often (and the old dwarf still won't drop his despite it being double chance

)
